Reflexión musical

He estado pensando en el post que escribí el sabado pasado, en el cual hablé un poco de una canción, lo que no dije es que esa canción en mi último año de secundaria era como un himno para mi, significó mucho (y aún significa mucho) para mi.
Debo confesar que la música ha influido mucho en mi, en mi vida y en mi forma de ver la vida. Me da fuerzas para continuar, me ahoga en tristeza, me sumerge en soledad, me hace saltar de alegria, me hace sonreir, me hace recordar, me hace reflexionar, me hace sentir, tranquiliza mis penas.
No sé que sería de mi sin la música, como dije en un post anterior seguro ya habría muerto de tristeza o quizá hubiera tenido el valor de autoasesinarme, no sé.
Creo que las canciones son importantes para cada uno, de alguna forma son parte de nuestra personalidad, de alguna forma somos lo que escuchamos, al menos hasta cierto punto.
Pero siempre estoy cambiando y canciones que antes me gustaban ahora no me gustan, muchas ahora no las tolero pero hay otras que aún de vez en cuando escucho. Y por supuesto están las canciones nuevas, las que están por venir y otras que suenan o han sonado en otras partes del mundo y que esperan por mi, igualmente yo espero por ellas.

Para terminar, me pregunto si los escritores, compositores e interpretes de las canciones sienten lo que expresan en sus canciones, creo que sí. Pero me pregunto si se dan cuenta que con las canciones que escriben/componen/interpretan evocan muchas emociones a los que las escuchamos, acaso sabrán que nos hacen bien pero tambien nos hacen daño con sus canciones? ...

Una canción

Hoy mientras leía mi lista de blogs (en google reader) escuchaba música en itunes, la playlist de 5 estrellas, estaba en aleatorio y para mi sorpresa se reprodujo una canción que no escuchaba desde hacía cierto tiempo.
La canción era Ordinary World de Duran, Duran y no pude evitar sonreir y reir un poco. Me hizo recordar mi último año en la secundaria, sin duda fue un año de muchos cambios, rebeldía, tristeza, decepciones, llanto, etc...
Y es así como vuelvo a hablar de recuerdos, un arma de doble filo, un arma que debo aprender a dominar o al menos comprender que en un borde hay recuerdos alegres y en el otro recuerdos tristes, y no importa qué tan triste sea un recuerdo siempre habrá un recuerdo alegre que lo compense. Pero hoy fue diferente, porque a pesar que muchos recuerdos tristes vinieron a mi no me hicieron sentir mal, sino que mas bien me hicieron sonreir y reir.
Pero esas sonrisas y risas muchas veces se disfrazan, furtivamente esconden muchas emociones, emociones que se encuentran y chocan entre sí creando gran conmoción dentro de mi. Y me rio eufóricamente, no puedo llorar así que rio fuerte y compulsivamente liberando todas esas emociones, toda esa conmoción dentro de mi.
Luego de escuchar la canción, luego de un momento reí eufóricamente, me liberé, me sentí bien y me siento bien por eso. Debo decir que me alegra liberarme de todas esas emociones usando un método efectivo y a la vez placentero, reir.

Música comercial

Mientras estaba en la universidad conocí unos tios que hablaban mucho sobre la música comercial, la criticaban y a los que la escuchaban tambien. Para ese tiempo no conocía el término "música comercial", me llamó la atención y me pregunté escucho música comercial? está mal escucharla?. Como siempre empecé un debate interno y llegué a la conclusión de que sí, mucha de la música que escuchaba era comercial pero no había ningún problema en ello, cada quien tiene sus gustos y una razón por la cual le gustan tales canciones.

Las canciones que me gustan por lo general en cuanto empiezo a escucharlas encienden algo en mi. Puede que me enamoren el oido, cuando sólo las escucho y puede que tambien me enamoren la vista, cuando miro el video. Es un proceso simple y un poco complejo a la vez. Y bueno, con la edad me he vuelto un poco o muy exigente en la música, ahora es más dificil que una canción logré enamorarme.

Así que, si una canción llega a enamorarme debo dejar de escucharla sólo porque sea considerada comercial? F#CK NO.

Creo que el término es discriminatorio. Aunque existe porque la música comercial está ahí afuera. Pero, qué música es comercial y cuál no? bueno, he pensado al respecto y llegué a la conclusión de que me vale sh1t, no me importa y no me quita el sueño.

Digo esto porque me incomoda que critiquen (o critiquen a alguien) la música que escucho , no pasa seguido, pero siempre hay un intolerante (de esos que no ven más allá de su nariz) que me ofende con sus críticas despectivas. La música, las canciones que me gustan me gustan porque me gustan, no hay nada que explicar. Y si son "comerciales" no me importa. No dejaré de escuchar mis canciones sólo porque un tio las critica o a los artistas.
Es increíble, pero cada vez existe más intolerancia hacia todo, HOW AWFUL!!

Durante los dias en que my chemical disease me atacaba e intentaba derribarme siempre conté con la buena compañia de mis canciones, ellas nunca me han abandonado y esta ocasión no fue la excepción. Las canciones que he posteado estuvieron conmigo, pero en mayor medida me inyectaban dulces melodias mi música clásica/filarmónica/sinfónica.

Los vals de ensueño de Johan Strauss, las inigualables composiciones de John Williams, las magnificas composiciones de Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms. La formidable percusión de la Orquesta Filarmónica de Berlin y de Viena. Soundtracks de mis peliculas favoritas. Y muchas otras fascinantes composiciones.

Todas estas canciones sin duda poseen el sello Remarkable song!! Canciones que me hacen sentir, entran delicadamente en mi sistema y me inyectan diversas emociones, recorren mi cuerpo llevando tranquilidad, sueños, bienestar. Mi cuerpo no se mueve, pero internamente rebosa de alegria, explota en una emoción indescriptible, escalofrios que ensalzan lo que ya siento hasta terminar en una inocente pero esplendida sonrisa.
